Light TN prices a landscape lighting system by what the property and the design require. The biggest variables are the size of the property, the number of fixtures and zones, and the transformer and cable runs needed to reach them. Which services are combined into one system matters just as much — a focused front-facade plan and a whole-property system with audio and smart control sit at very different points, because they involve very different amounts of design, equipment, and labor.
Because of that, a designed system is priced after an on-site assessment rather than from a fixed rate card. The number reflects your home, not an average.
02Why a designed system costs more than a kit
Light TN is a design studio, and a designed system reflects design judgment, specified fixtures, and proper installation rather than a box of parts. Quality LED fixtures with good drivers and beam control cost more than bargain fixtures, but they hold their color and output for years and carry a fixture failure rate Light TN tracks at under 1% a year.
The value is in a system that still looks right years later, not the lowest upfront number. A kit replaced in a few seasons rarely turns out cheaper.
03How Light TN’s pricing works
Light TN sets the price after the on-site design, not before. The consultation is free, and you approve a photorealistic rendering and scope before any commitment. Projects over $10,000 carry a 15% deposit; projects under $10,000 require no deposit; and the balance is paid in full on completion.
Design-only plans are available — renderings, fixture specifications, and zone layouts — and the design fee is credited toward the project if Light TN installs the system.
04Cost over time: efficiency and warranty
The price of a system is only part of the picture; what it costs to own matters too. Light TN systems run on efficient LED, which the U.S. Department of Energy notes uses roughly 75% less energy than incandescent, so a full system typically costs only a few dollars a month to run.
