Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the Site, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access. Content on the Site — text, images, designs, and renderings — is owned by Light TN or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
Consultations and design
Consultation requests submitted through the Site are inquiries, not binding agreements. A project begins only when both parties agree to a written proposal or contract. Design renderings, plans, and specifications prepared by Light TN remain the intellectual property of Light TN until and unless otherwise agreed in a project contract.
Estimates, pricing, and payment
Project pricing is set in a written proposal following an on-site assessment. Payment terms are as follows:
- A 15% deposit is required on projects over $10,000.
- No deposit is required on projects under $10,000.
- The balance is due in full upon completion.
Design-only fees are credited toward the project if Light TN performs the installation.
Warranties
Light TN provides:
- a one-year workmanship/performance warranty on installation;
- lifetime manufacturer fixture warranties, as provided by each manufacturer;
- a satisfaction guarantee as described in your project agreement.
Warranties are subject to the terms in your written project contract, which controls in the event of any conflict with these Terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Light TN is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amount paid for that project.
Third-party products and links
Our systems incorporate third-party products (for example, fixtures, control systems, and audio equipment), which are covered by their manufacturers' terms and warranties. The Site may link to third-party websites, for which we are not responsible.
Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of Site content. Lighting renderings are representations of intended design and may differ from final installed results.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dickson County, Tennessee.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision, and continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
